Localised Offshore Software Development from Nvolve Limited

Nvolve limited have recently launched a new venture that handles local offshore development. The service offers clients within Ireland and the UK with the ability to outsource technology needs at a competitive price.

Lee Tedstone, Nvolve Limited, stated that the initial idea came about by accident. Over the past four years Nvolve have been using an Indian development partner to develop their core product, the Nvolve Response Blended Learning Solution which the company now sells to the market. Nvolve recognised at this point that there was an opportunity to run with this venture even further by providing clients with the same level of service and cost savings that they have experienced over the years and roll this out to potential customers.

Nvolve’s relationship with the Indian partner was further accredited in 2007 when Nvolve took an equity stake in that business. In partnership they develop solutions in the field of web application development, customised application development, programming and application integration. Software skills that the team specialise in include ASP.net, Sharepoint, MSSQL, MySQL, PHP and many more.

Nvolve’s CTO, who joined Nvolve from India after the buy in, and also some to his team are now permanently based in Ireland and have extensive experience managing and implementing large and small software development projects. Therefore one of Nvolve’s competitive advantages is having a core development team based in India and also having the local aspect with the CTO and his team on site in Ireland leading for a very efficient and highly skilled service to clients.

Any member of the Nvolve IT team can be contracted for one week to one year or more if the need arises. They are available ‘on demand’ with no long term commitment. Nvolve will also provide clients with a local project manager who is available at all times to discuss and help manage the development.
