Sales & Marketing Director of Nvolve Limited shortlisted for LiveWIRE award
Press release from: Nvolve Limited
(openPR) - A young Buncrana businessman, whose client lists includes multi-nationals such as KPMG, has been shortlisted for a major national award. Lee Tedstone, from Railway Road, is one of six young business persons from throughout the country nominated for the prestigious Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.
His company, Nvolve Limited, based in Letterkenny, not only develops customised software but also integrates software tools such as financial and HR systems for firms worldwide. Set up less than two years ago Nvolve has already built up an impressive array of clients including Coca Cola, Stanmore college, Baxter Healthcare and Moy Park Foods, to name but a few. "We've got some big names on our client list but the bulk of our business is aimed at local start-up and SME businesses that need some simple software developed" Says Lee. Lee explained how the Nvolve Local Offshore service would address some of the issues companies are facing in the current economic climate. "The business has a massive interest from companies that either don't have the development expertise in house, that need an immediate development resource to switch on/off or that simply cannot afford it. Nvolve address these challenges by either placing some of our team onsite or by outsourcing the whole project or in most cases, a combination of both”.
Lee said he was delighted to be nominated for the award. He said: “It’s fantastic. I am over the moon. This is a major national award and even to be nominated is a great achievement and an endorsement of the business.”
The son of George and Kathleen, Lee is former pupil of St. Columba’s National School (now Scoil Iosagain) and Scoil Mhuire in Buncrana. After graduating from the University of Ulster at Magee with a BA Degree in electronics and software design he went on to complete an engineering Masters Degree at Queen’s University in Belfast.
He then moved to Reading in England where he spent eight years working as an electronic engineer, project manager and projects director before returning home to start up his own outsourcing business. He said: “I came back home not just because ‘Donegal is home for me,’ but because I realised that there Is a real entrepreneurial spirit in the Northwest and with the experience and knowledge I learned in the UK, there was a real opportunity to set up business in the North West.”
Nvolve, which has been endorsed by Enterprise Ireland as a High Potential Startup (HPSU), now has eight employees on the payroll and recently set-up a development centre in India. This year’s Shell LiveWIRE Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony will take place on October 9 in Westport, Co. Mayo.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
Gabriele Ketterl,Director Marketing & PR, Menads
