(openPR) - LOWELL, Mass. -- OMS SafeHarbor, Inc (OMS) a leading supplier of digital product management (DPM) and electronic software delivery (ESD) solutions for software publishers, now has extended their electronic software distribution (ESD) application to allow clients to charge customers for physical copy orders (shipping and handling costs).
The new PayPalTM integration allows those customers requesting physical copies to be prompted for payment before any optional physical copy request is processed. The extension allows customers to be designated as VIP or regular customers where VIP customers are exempt from the payment processing.
The payment integration enables a company to pass through the cost of production and shipping costs to customers and can be used to encourage customers to move from the physical to the ESD model.
