OptimAITech Appoints Business and Scientific Advisory Board

BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, 9 September 2008 – OptimAITech Pty Ltd, an innovative provider of Scheduling Optimisation and Prediction Software for “Happy Clients” announced today that it has appointed a Business and Scientific Advisory Board constituted of renowned experts in business and science.

“OptimAITech demonstrates a rare blend of applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to commercial business challenges with the clear focus of providing a significant financial benefit!”, said Mr. Steve Rudlin, Business Advisor to OptimAITech.

Mr. Abdallah Almuhawis, Business Advisor to OptimAITech, added: “I am thrilled to be part of OptimAITech's advisory team, which allows me to be involved with the latest reliable, efficient and effective scheduling optimisation and prediction software. The flexible nature of OptimAITech's adaptive optimisation and prediction software is very powerful and systematic, and applicable to all industries.”

Dr. Martin Schmidt, Chief Executive Officer of OptimAITech, commented: “We are very excited having such diverse and excellent team of business and scientific experts on our advisory board. OptimAITech appointed the following Business Advisors:

Mr. Steve Rudlin has extensive experience over a 30 year period as a Managing Director and Regional Manager of some of the most innovative global hardware and software players including Sun Microsystems, Data General, Mincom and Cincom. He lived and worked in Europe, the US and throughout Asia/Pacific developing and growing field business operations for major IT companies. Mr. Rudlin's focus today is mentoring smaller Queensland companies, and helping them to grow and compete on the global stage.

Mr. Abdallah Almuhawis received an Advanced MBA from the University of Adelaide (Australia), a Bachelor in the Science of Accounting from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (Saudi Arabia), and works since 2002 for Saudi Aramco (the largest oil corporation in the world with the world's largest proven crude oil reserves and production). Mr. Almuhawis is currently part of the Long-Range Planning Department involving world-wide budgeting and logistics for Saudi Aramco.

Mr. Esteban Giandomenico received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biodiversity, Environmental and Park Management from the University of South Australia, a Diploma in Environmental Management, and a degree in Management of Air and Water Monitoring Systems from National University of Rosario (Argentina). Mr. Giandomenico currently works as Knowledge Manager for Carbon Planet Pty Ltd and actively pursues his passion for environmental sustainability via seminars, workshops and conferences.

OptimAITech appointed the following Scientific Advisors:

Dr. Jacek Koronacki is Professor and Director of the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw, Poland). His numerous former accomplishments and positions include being Director of Research, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence, and Chairman of the Statistical Inference Group at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Dr. Koronacki is a renowned expert in statistical analysis & modelling, and quality control, and his recent interests include very-high dimensional data classification.

Dr. Brian Mayoh is Professor at University of Aarhus, Denmark, and Chairman of the Danish Artificial Intelligence Society. He has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Illinois (USA) and a Diploma in Computing and Numerical Analysis from Cambridge University (UK). Dr. Mayoh is a renowned expert in Artificial Intelligence and his recent interests include Logic, Genetic Algorithms, Computational Biology, and Graph Grammars.

Dr. Thomas J.K. Stidsen is Assistant Professor in Operations Research, Department of Informatics and Mathematical Modelling at the Technical University of Denmark (Copenhagen, Denmark). He has a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Department of Informatics and Mathematical Modelling at the Technical University of Denmark, and a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Aarhus. Dr. Stidsen is a renowned expert in modelling and optimisation of difficult real-life problems, and lecturer of meta-heuristics.

Dr. Luciana Magnano is a Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of South Australia, and a Bachelor with honours in Statistics from National University of Rosario (Argentina). Dr. Magnano is an expert in statistical and mathematical modelling, and works in the electricity sector in South Australia (Australia).

Dr. Ana Duarte has a Ph.D. in Mineral Processing from the University of South Australia, and a M.Sc. in Chemical and Biochemical Processes from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has extensive R&D experience working with Governments and large organisations such as Zinifex and BHP Billiton. Dr. Duarte has substantial 6-sigma and Project Management experience, and works in the mining sector in Queensland (Australia).
