(openPR) - San Antonio-based multimedia marketing firm PrimaDonna Productions, Inc. introduces actors to the process of filmmaking with its newest class, SCENE FROM BOTH SIDES: THE INDEPENDENT FILM EXPERIENCE.

SCENE FROM BOTH SIDES: THE INDEPENDENT FILM EXPERIENCE is a four-week class for actors of all ages and levels of skill and experience, from the untrained novice to the seasoned professional. During the program, students will participate in the production of a short film (all equipment will be provided for them), and will experience all the stages of filmmaking first-hand, including writing, cinematography, editing, and screening the finished film; through appearances on WOAI’s "4 San Antonio Living" and on woai.com, they will also learn to market and promote their own film, and will have an opportunity to submit it to film festivals.
“It is essential for actors working in film to understand what happens on both sides of the camera,” says Nikki Young, President of PrimaDonna Productions, who will oversee the program along with Chadd Green, Director of Creative and Technical Services, and Director of Photography A.J. Garcés, the team behind the award-winning short films "Dating Danielle" and "Crush". Green adds, “When actors see what goes into making a film and learn to do it for themselves, when they know every step of the process and can appreciate the hard work involved, it helps them become better and more attentive actors.”
PRICES:
Scene From Both Sides costs only $500 per student, with lunch included; a $50 registration fee will be applied to the balance. Spaces are limited to only 15 students. Checks, cash, or money orders are accepted. Credit card payments will also be accepted, but only through PayPal.
