Munich, September 4, 2008 - The Galileo Group AG, one of the leading suppliers of software engineering and consultancy services in the area of heterogeneous ERP landscapes and IT Service Management solutions, has announced the appointment of Peter Ihbe to the position of Vice President Services, Sales and Marketing for its Professional Services business. Ihbe will prove a valuable addition to the management team at the Galileo Group, and his experience will be of huge advantage to Galileo as it continues to expand.
Peter Ihbe has been working in the IT industry for over 15 years, and for almost a decade he has held an executive position in the sales and marketing department of a leading business services company. After qualifying as an engineer, Peter started his career with the US based Molex Inc., where he hold a variety of duties in the area of European IT-management, sales and key account management. Moving on to DV-RATIO SÜD GmbH as Head of Sales for Professional Services, he was responsible for the establishment and development of the company's consultancy services. Ihbe's ambitious goal in his new position with Galileo is "to assist the Galileo Group in its efforts to become one of the leading providers of business services in its market segment over the medium term."
