New Crime Stoppers of Oregon Website: Fighting Neighborhood Crime Through the Internet
Press release from: Harlo Media Inc.
Portland, OR - Crime Stoppers of Oregon (crimestoppersoforegon.com) has teamed up with Portland based web development firm Harlo Media (harlomedia.com) and is poised to take their community based crime prevention program to the Internet with a new website. “We wanted a website that stood out, was progressive and represented the way we fight crime in the Northwest,” states Crime Stoppers team member Cathe Kent. With cutting graphics and strong imagery, the new Crime Stoppers site is sure to turn some heads, while focusing on generating Internet based crime prevention tips.
The new site features a suite of innovative functions such as anonymous tip submissions, featured crime videos, crime archives and a comprehensive content management system. Additionally the site contains industry leading search engine optimization strategies and a refreshed Crime Stoppers logo that is brought to life through flash animation graphics. “Our goal from day one was to develop one of the best Crime Stoppers websites in the nation; not only does this site look cool, it’s extremely practical,” explains Harlo Media Marketing Director, McKean Banzer-Lausberg.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon hopes to utilize the website to reach out to an Internet based audience as a supplement to their already successful phone hotline. The new site has officially launched and will be used extensively with local and state media and public agencies in an ongoing effort to make Oregon a safer place to live.
