Press release from: FOEM
PR Agency: FOEM
(openPR) - First music video and remix contest run by FOEM.
FOEM, the netlabel and talent pool, is hosting an international music video and remix contest with K-Drive & Ginman. The winning track will be released on Rotterdam based label Manual Music. The contest is running from August 1st 2008 until October 31st 2008 on the FOEM website.
Dutch Techno artists Bert Kroes and Krijn van Heusden have been working together as K-Drive and Ginman since 2006, releasing a number of successful EPs on Manual Music and other labels. Ginman is one of the men behind electronic music community livesets.com. They began working on a live performance in summer 2008, and their first show was a great success. Manual Music was founded in 2005 by Dutch DJ Paul Hazendonk. Other artists to release on Manual Music include Umek and Qbical.
Remixers are invited to remix at least one of K-Drive and Ginman’s tracks ‘Ready for Sorrow’ Part 1 and 2. Prizes include a release on the digital Manualism 2.0 compilation, and at least one more digital release on Manual Music, along with other Manual Music merchandise.
Video artists should make a music video for one of the tracks. The winning video will be extensively promoted both on and offline. Both winners will receive Manual Music and Stolen Moments releases upfront digitally for one year plus some merchandise.
