According to Frank Wallace, a spokesman for IndustrialCOOP, the publications are designed to promote international manufacturers and exporters of industrial and technical textiles and connect such suppliers with qualified importers and buyers worldwide.
Wallace said the newly published directories from IndustrialCOOP, a division of the Industrial Leaders Group, includes offerings for a broad variety of canvas and tarpaulins, wool, felt, special fabrics, Nomex®, weave types, non-wovens, satin, Teflon®, cotton, mock leno, twill, polyester, nylon, Kevlar®, cotton flannel, mesh, netting, suede, velvet, geotextiles, custom technical textiles, terry cloth, fabric blends, tubular knit, circular knit, flame-resistant textiles, coated and water repellent fabrics, raw cotton, industrial woven fabrics and allied products.
According to Wallace, the directories are used primarily by manufacturers of clothing and other apparel as well as furniture, towels, blankets, automotive carpets and seating, area rugs, pillows, curtains, sporting goods and a wide range of other textiles. "The publications are intended to help textile buyers locate suitable manufacturers and suppliers serving international markets with emphasis on North America, Europe, Middle East, Australia and Asia," said Wallace.
IndustrialCOOP also enables companies actively in the market for industrial textiles and other commercial products to submit open RFQ's directly to suppliers. Over 65,000 manufacturers, exporters and distributors of industrial supplies, equipment and machinery are accessible on the site detailing the company's products, services and corporate capabilities as well as contact details. Wallace states, "Manufactures of industrial textiles are able to explore live RFQ's from qualified buyers in their target market."
