Digital video solutions with the HDMI splitters and HDMI switches from DIGITUS®

The DIGITUS® HDMI splitters enable reproduction from only one video signal on several HDMI reproduction devices, e.g. plasma screens. The splitters are equipped with 1 input, and are available in versions with 2, 4 and 8 outputs. The devices are compatible with the HDTV formats 480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p and support the following image pixel formats: VGA, SVGA, XGA and UXGA. The pixel frequency is 25 – 165 MHz.

In the area of HDMI switches, DIGITUS® has launched two new devices with 3 or 5 inputs onto the market, with which several HDMI sources such as DVD-players and PC’s can be connected and played on only one HDMI-capable screen. The switching between the sources can be carried out either manually or via the remote control supplied. The HDMI switches operate on the Plug&Play principle, and no further software is required.

The switches are compatible with the HDTV formats 480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i and 1080p, and the image pixel formats VGA, SVGA, XGA and UXGA are supported (support for 8 Bit and 12 Bit colour depth per channel). The devices support the HDCP encryption procedure and transmit HDCP-encrypted video signals correctly.
