(openPR) - VAG-Valves UK and its UK Distribution and Logistics Partner Fusion Provida have recently been awarded the prestigious Yorkshire Water Framework for the supply of Resilient Seated Gate Valves (50mm – 300mm) for three years with an optional addition of two years.
VAG-Valves UK, Yorkshire Water and Fusion Provida recently visited the VAG manufacturing plants in Mannheim and Hodonin to sign the agreement and see firsthand the fantastic production and logistics facilities.
VAG-Valves UK Commercial Director – Wilson McPhail said ‘This is a great achievement for VAG-Valves UK as it opens the door for other VAG products to be sold into Yorkshire Water. As the nominated supplier of Resilient Seated Gate Valves, we are also the preferred supplier for ‘Non-Framework’ items such as Non Return Valves, Air Valves or Control Valves. This is an excellent opportunity to promote the full range of VAG products within the Yorkshire water area and increase our market penetration.
The Framework commenced 1st August 2008 and VAG-Valves UK and their distribution partner, Fusion Provida have already established a stock in the UK of almost 3,000 valves.
With the award only recently commencing, VAG-Valves UK have already witnessed an increase in enquiry activity and orders for Non Framework items. This includes material for Knostrop WWTW, one of the largest Waste Water Treatment Works in the UK. This is just one of many projects within the maintenance cycle and upgrading of Yorkshire Waters extensive network of sewers and waste water treatment works which provides what is probably the most comprehensive pollution prevention service in the UK.
