(openPR) - DALLAS – A unique new advertising campaign and a signature community event have earned Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP double recognition in the prestigious Communicator Awards.
The firm earned an Award of Distinction in the competition’s print advertising campaign category for its “They Call It/We Call It” series. The campaign illustrates Gardere’s ability to cut through hyperbole to present a no-nonsense approach to the practice of law.
Gardere earned a second 2008 Award of Distinction in the community outreach program category based on the annual Gardere Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competitions. More than 280 students representing a combined 20 schools participated in the 2008 competitions in Dallas, Houston and Austin.

More than 8,500 entries from across the United States and around the world were received for the 2008 Communicator Awards.
