Inbox Zero is Finally in Sight with MeisterTask for Outlook

Outlook users are now one step closer to inbox zero as MeisterLabs launch a new productivity automation for Outlook, turning emails into actionable to-dos in the task management tool, MeisterTask.

With the average U.S. worker reportedly spending 30 hours per week simply checking their emails, it’s clear that workers need help streamlining important to-dos from the huge amount of email waffle received. With the free MeisterTask for Outlook add-in, Outlook users can now convert emails into tasks at the click of a button. Using the automation, users can set the task name and description based on the subject line and content of the email, without even leaving the Outlook interface.

Announcing the automation, MeisterLabs created a short how-to video to show MeisterTask and Outlook users what they can expect from the add-in. There’s also a simple how-to guide, available on the MeisterTask blog.

The MeisterTask for Outlook add-in is free to install and works in Outlook 2013 or later, Outlook 2016 for Mac, as well as Outlook on the web. The add-in can be set up once logged into Outlook, where users are able to manage their integrations via the Settings Menu. Outlook users can then search for MeisterTask within the integrations search field and activate the add-in.
