More than 70 participants attended the information day on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

SOA for everyone?

Dr. Dirk Draheim, area manager of Database Technology, presented a far reaching overview including advantages, possibilities and utility of SOA. “It is the concept of a flexible, adaptable IT-architecture, which supports distributed data processing. Decision maker expect lower maintenance and integration cost as well higher efficiency of application development, increased reusability, and more flexible business processes”, explains Draheim.

Implementation in data processing service center

DI Thomas Kriechbaum presented a best practice example of the SOA implementation in the GRZ IT group, which is one of the leading IT-Service provider in Austria.
