MEMS Foundry makes the cut for the 2008 EuroAsia IC Industry Awards

(openPR) - EDMONTON, ALBERTA – Micralyne Inc., a world leading MEMS foundry, has been selected as a finalist for the EuroAsia IC Industry Awards in the category of Foundry of the Year.

EuroAsia Semiconductor announced the finalists for this award on July 1st, 2008. The IC Industry Awards are in their 4th year. It enjoyed an amazing response last year with over 100 companies entering and as importantly, over 22,000 votes cast.

In 2007, Micralyne was presented the Foundry of the Year award during SEMICON West in San Francisco. “Micralyne is very pleased to be a finalist for this award once again,” said Chris Lumb, President & CEO of Micralyne. “Reaching the finalist list for the second year in a row can be attributed to all our employees hard work which has allowed our continuous growth.”

This years voting will commence on June 26, 2008. The Awards will be presented in Europe this year on October 7th at SEMICON Europa 2008.
