(openPR) - The BREEF Clothing brand was established in spring 2008. Its products are manufactured in Sri Lanka under fair working conditions. One euro from each article sold is donated to the Kiva project. (www.kiva.org)
The owners and founders of BREEF Clothing believe that trading does not exclude social involvement. Therefore, they are not interested in getting the lowest possible production prices and strictly reject child labour, dumping prices and any form of exploitation. This, combined with excellent tailoring forms the basis for a well-functioning enterprise.
Kiva is an organization which enables people to lend money to small businesses in developing countries, via the Internet. This organization has been chosen, because the founders of BREEF are committed to supporting the concept of micro loans.
BREEF Clothing is based in Sri Lanka and the marketing agency is in Berlin, Germany. BREEF supplies classic fashion for women, made of natural fabrics. The Internet has been the only method of marketing, so far.
The quality of the products and the conditions under which they are manufactured is guaranteed by regular checks of the production locations. BREEF pays Attention to the measurements and fit of the garments being in line with European standards. BREEF does everything possible to ensure fair payment for the textile workers and tailorresses.
