Babelyou - Meet new friends from around the world!

Babelyou - Meet new friends from around the world!

Finding friends, learning languages, keeping in touch with people,… world-wide – thanks to Babelyou!

Germany, June 28, 2008 - Babelyou has launched its Portal in Japan, Sweden and Croatia with a localized issue in order to provide those countries with the country-specific features of the Web 2.0. applications. In the following months Greec and Finland will also have their own Babelyou-Site. Our intention is to be able to offer those languages before the end of this year, so that in Babelyou all the cultures will be joined worldwide. Babelyou connects already more than 70 countries with over 40 languages.

Babelyou offers the possibility of building up global networks to meet people from around the world and to keep in touch with them, all in only one platform. An own profile, photo and video uploads, as well as interesting groups to talk about different topics belong to the typical Web 2.0. services.

Those people, who would like to learn a foreign language, can look for a suitable language partner from around the world with the help of special search criteria and then learn together in Babelyou. The language portal is very helpful to do so. This online service offers the users the possibility to learn effectively a foreign language with other members. Furthermore a small translation tool will help, while learning, to translate the words into the other language.
If someone is looking world-wide, for example, for a summer residence, a travel partner, information about universities, or a job abroad, can post classified ads for free, and an events calendar, that the users will regularly update, will inform about events of all kinds. Likewise the companies can add for free their offers and events in all the countries.
With the chat function of Babelyou everyone can talk to people from other countries in many different languages. You can get to as many different chat rooms as countries are in the earth.

Babelyou does not want to address a specific target group. Everyone, who is looking for a language partner and wants to keep in touch with people he/she met abroad, is welcome to Babelyou!

There is no other platform with so many languages and range of coverage. In comparison to other portals, in Babelyou the users are able to choose the domain of their respective countries. This application eliminates the borders and makes possible that the users from different countries and cultures remain together.
