(openPR) - DIGITUS® brings a new USB Audio Adapter on to the market which can be connected up to the PC so that it is immediately ready for use. The device quickly replaces or extends the usual sound card in this way. The user no longer needs to crawl around in dusty, dark corners, but can comfortably use the external sound card at the front panel or the USB hub via the standard 3.5mm jack plug connection.
Any microphone, loudspeaker, head sets or earphones can be connected without working at the back of the PC housing. The small adapter is compatible with the USB 2.0 and USB Audio Device Class specification v1.0. No other drivers are necessary because of the integrated Plug & Play function so that the adapter can be used immediately.
The device is an absolute technical marvel and is equipped with a 16 bit audio DAC amplifier and a 16 bit ADC microphone amplifier. The LEDs are used to show the user the operating status.
The adapter is compatible with the operating SYSTEMS Windows 2000/XP/Vista and MAC OS9/OS10.
