(openPR) - IRVINE, CA – After announcing a Gold win for the University of La Verne (ULV) Virtual Tour, Earthbound Media Group (EMG) is proud to announce its additional wins in the international Communicator Awards. EMG’s Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) Perspectives Virtual Tour, and receiving its first award, The Art Institute of California – Orange County (AIOC) microsite were each individually honored with an Award of Distinction for exceeding industry standards in quality and achievement.
Receiving its third win, the video-based LLUMC Perspectives virtual tour experience received a Silver statuette in the “Health Care Services” category. Strategically incorporated into a comprehensive cross-media campaign, EMG developed a user-friendly, interactive online experience where prospective patients can explore the medical center’s groundbreaking facilities and featured services via streaming video-diaries and high-quality photo albums.
Also receiving a Silver statuette Award of Distinction, the AIOC microsite was recognized within the expansive “Microsite” category. EMG worked alongside client The Art Institute of California – Orange County to develop a strategic, lead generation-focused microsite. Incorporating intuitive navigation, rich media and search engine optimized content, the complete makeover of AIOC’s web presence gives prospective students a straight-forward overview of the school’s degree programs.

Administered by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), the Communicator Awards is one of the largest international awards programs around. This year’s competition alone drew over 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes and budgets across the globe. Honoring the best in print, video, interactive media and audio, the competition was judged by distinguished professionals from acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms such as MTV, Condè Nast and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Each individual entry was carefully scrutinized and graded under high standards in areas focusing on clarity, creativity and the like, whereby only a select handful were honored with the show’s gold and silver statuettes. The coveted Award of Excellence marks the best of the industry, and is followed by the Award of Distinction.
