BNS launches new multi-stream Internet TV application at CommunicAsia 2008
Press release from: BNS Ltd
(openPR) - [HONG KONG/SINGAPORE, 16 JUNE 2008] IP systems integrator BNS Ltd will showcase its newly launched multi-stream Internet TV application at CommunicAsia in Singapore this week.
Easily adaptable to existing internet TV service platforms, BNS’ application allows multiple low bitrate live or on-demand video streams to be delivered simultaneously which eliminates click-intensive video searching and puts users’ favourite channels at their fingertips.
BNS’ multi-stream application also enables service providers to offer more targeted advertising options on their platform and increase revenues through inserting graphics and video-based advertisements into live video streams which are tagged to viewing records captured in the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
Unlike conventional video mosaic-based solutions which offer very limited user interactivity and a fixed video grid, BNS’ multi-stream solution provides a vibrant user interface that allows end users to dynamically configure program grids, customize the look and feel, and personalize program schedules.
“The volume of video watched on the Internet is constantly growing, but so is the number of channels, making it often hard to keep up with what’s showing on your favourite channels,” said Karl Sin, VP of Marketing at BNS. “Our multi-stream solution provides a very slick user experience as it does away with the usually cumbersome searching for channels on different screens.”
Powered by BNS’ own Nautilus Middleware, the multi-stream Internet TV solution also provides billing, subscriber management and content scheduling and is a cost effective solution that can be easily adapted to existing Internet TV applications.
The BNS booth will also feature the company’s portfolio of industry leading IP solutions, including Telco-grade IPTV, broadcast Mobile TV, IPTV for Multi-Dwelling Units, Enterprise A/V and IP-Centric Head end. BNS will also present its latest Content line up as part of its Content 360 aggregation service which includes over 10,000 hours of quality content.
The BNS booth 3G4-01 is located in Hall 3 of Singapore Expo.

Your portal is fast, simple, and easy to use. Others may have more functions but they also demand more editing time, you have to preformat the text in order to achieve a good result etc.
