(openPR) - RAiO Technology has introduced a development kit for its new LCD controller RA8806. The RA8806 LCD controller kit is targeted for small and mid-size monochrome STN LCD display application development.
Included in the kit is a board based on the RAiO RA8806 LCD controller, an onboard 8051 MCU with RS232 serial interface, LCD panel interface connectors, touch screen interface and all the components necessary to evaluate RA8806 controller. The RA8806 controller kit suits a wide variety of commercial, industrial and medical appliances, such as Multifunction Printer, Data Collection Devices, Human-Machine Interface, Ticket Vending Machine, Industrial Handhelds, Test and Measuring Instruments.
The RA8806 development board can support any Graphic monochrome STN LCD from 128x64 dots up to 320x480 dots characters and/or graphics display. Customers can display data or images on a LCD panel by downloading graphics from personal computer to the onboard 8051 MCU and commented source code for the RA8806 and circuit diagrams. The onboard CPU interface is also available for users to connect any types of CPU on their own system board. Using this kit will significantly speed the design and eliminating the need to design user own interface board, engineers can drive the display from this RA8806 STN controller board and rapidly develop working prototypes.
Also supplied is the power supply and a full set of documentation. RAiO Technology offers the limited quantity free kits for customers, the detail information and sample is available through RAiO and its distribution partners from June 2008.
