BlueStar Holds Wal-Mart RFID Compliance Seminar
Florence, KY—June 10, 2008—BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility, and RFID products, teamed up recently with epcSolutions, Zebra Technologies, and Motorola to hold an RFID Wal-Mart Compliance Webinar for BlueStar Canadian resellers, system integrators, and suppliers.Forty-two people attended the Webinar, which was followed by an interactive Q&A session. Dan Miller, BlueStar’s RFID Program Manager, led the seminar along with epcSolutions’ CIO Chuck Williams and CEO Kevin Kail, Zebra Sr. Business Development Manager Cliff Downing, and Motorola Sr. RFID Channel Business Development Manager John Rommel.
The Webinar explained details of the Wal-Mart Canadian RFID mandates and described an offered solution from BlueStar that can help them painlessly meet the mandate by the deadline of July 30, 2008. This solution focused on several products provided by the Webinar participating vendors.
“This Webinar resulted in the liveliest chat room and Q&A session I’ve ever experienced. During the Webinar, a constant flow of questions was sent to the Webinar panel; these were immediately responded to by the appropriate expert,” says Dan Miller, BlueStar RFID Program Manager.
