June 10, 2008 – Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, recognized the success of three of the company’s leading European channel partners at its annual customer and partner conference, Check Point Experience 2008, with its Partner of the Year awards.
Over 1000 European channel partners and customers attended the two-day event, held in Prague. During the event, Check Point announced its new, high-end Power-1 and UTM-1 Total Security appliances. These new appliances deliver comprehensive security from small offices and branches to data centres.
The two Power-1 appliances offer the best price-to-performance ratio firewall (under $4 per Mbps) with a high level of security for large enterprise sites and data centres. Power-1 appliances combine firewall, IPSec, virtual private network (VPN) and intrusion prevention with acceleration technologies, for multi-Gbps environments.
The three new UTM-1 appliances are aimed at enterprise sites of all sizes, with pricing starting at just $4,800. They combine Check Point’s leading application and network-layer firewall, site-to-site and remote access VPN, gateway antivirus and anti-spyware, intrusion prevention, Web filtering and comprehensive messaging security.
