Business Centre for the first time at Musikmesse 2009
Press release from: Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH
(openPR) - Musikmesse 2009 with a new spectrum for the trade, wholesalers and the industry
Business Centre to strengthen the Musikmesse as a commercial platform
For the first time beginning next year, the Musikmesse will provide a Business Centre for exhibitors and visitors. With the new Business Centre, the Musikmesse – International Trade Fair for Musical Instruments, Music Software & Computer Hardware, Sheet Music and Accessories – will create an area reserved exclusively for dealers, wholesalers and the industry. Initially, the Business Centre will occupy a whole floor of an exhibition hall and give exhibitors the space they need to conduct talks or business negotiations in a quiet and intensive atmosphere.
The Musikmesse will make its exhibitors offers tailored specifically to the Business Centre, including stand construction and taking account of the special needs of a meeting area. Many exhibitors have already reacted positively to this innovation with several important manufacturers and wholesalers having already booked space in the Business Centre.
Messe Frankfurt is confident that the Business Centre will make taking part in the fair even more efficient and successful for exhibitors and trade visitors from the industry and the wholesale and retail trades. The Musikmesse has already taken due account of the needs of the various target groups from the professional world and private music lovers by splitting the fair into days for trade visitors and the public day on the Saturday. Now, the new Business Centre will reinforce the leading position of the Musikmesse as the world's foremost platform for business and international exports. At the same time, there is nothing to prevent the numerous members of the public from looking, trying and touching the coveted exhibits during the public day.
The Business Centre will also be open to exhibitors and trade visitors of Prolight + Sound, which is held parallel to the Musikmesse.
The International Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Main will be held from 1 to 4 April 2009. With the 1,660 exhibitors from 47 countries who took part in Musikmesse in March 2008, the world's leading international trade fair for musical instruments, music software & computer hardware, sheet music and accessories continued on its highly successful course and also set a new visitor record. The organisers also expect further increases in the number of exhibitors and visitors in 2009.

The Musikmesse is the world's biggest trade fair for musical instruments, music software & computer hardware, sheet music and accessories. Around 80,000 trade visitors from the musical-instrument sector, e.g. manufacturers, dealers, professional and amateur musicians attended the last event at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre in March 2008. 1,660 exhibitors from 47 countries took part in the show. The Musikmesse is held parallel to the Prolight + Sound trade fair, which perfectly rounds off the spectrum of exhibits to be seen at the Musikmesse. Visitors to the Musikmesse have free admission to the Prolight + Sound trade fair for audio, lighting, event and communication technology.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
Gabriele Ketterl,Director Marketing & PR, Menads
