(openPR) - Business Centre to reinforce Prolight + Sound as a commercial platform

The first Business Centre for exhibitors and trade visitors to open its doors at Prolight + Sound

With the new Business Centre, Prolight + Sound – International Trade Fair for Event and Communication Technology, AV Production and Entertainment ¬– will create an area reserved exclusively for manufacturers, dealers and business customers. In this way, the world's biggest trade fair for the event industry will reinforce its position as the leading platform for the sector. Initially, the Business Centre will occupy a whole floor of an exhibition hall and give exhibitors the space they need to conduct talks or business negotiations in a quiet and intensive atmosphere.

Prolight + Sound will make its exhibitors offers tailored specifically to the Business Centre, which include stand construction and take account of the special requirements of a meeting area.

Messe Frankfurt is confident that the Business Centre will make taking part in the fair even more efficient and successful for exhibitors and trade visitors from the industry and the wholesale and retail trades. Moreover, it will reinforce the position of Prolight + Sound as the leading international platform for the trade and the worldwide export business.

The Business Centre will also be open to exhibitors and trade visitors of the Musikmesse, which is held parallel to the Prolight + Sound.

Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt am Main will be held from 1 to 4 April 2009. With the 837 exhibitors from 42 countries who took part in this year's Prolight + Sound, the leading international trade fair for event and communication technology, audio-visual production and entertainment continued on its highly successful course. With around 31,200 visitors, Prolight + Sound once again recorded an increase in the number of visitors. The organises also anticipate further growth in the number of exhibitors and visitors in 2009.
