Software-as-a-Service expert hired to execute sales strategies for innovative web-based applications

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - June 2, 2008 - Vitrium Systems, leading provider of intelligent electronic document solutions, today announced that Keith Thompson has been appointed as the company's Director of Sales, with responsibility for developing and executing sales strategies for its docmetrics and protectedpdf applications.

Keith Thompson brings over 15 years of experience in sales and sales management to Vitrium Systems. Prior to joining Vitrium, he worked with Thomson Reuters, Thomson Financial and Selkirk Financial Technologies, in positions including Regional Sales Director and Inside Sales Manager.

Mr. Thompson joins Vitrium at a pivotal time. The company is preparing to launch docmetrics, its web-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application for reader metrics and lead generation. Vitrium is also currently developing a fully web-based version of protectedpdf, its established Digital Rights Management (DRM) solution.

Mr. Thompson has an extensive track record of exceeding sales targets and developing markets for technology solutions, with a particular emphasis on web-based applications. His considerable knowledge of B2B lead generation makes him particularly well-suited to develop the user base for docmetrics.
