EXECOM headquarters, Novi Sad, Serbia (May, 2008) – Besides main competencies that refer to telecommunications, finance, internet business solutions and laboratory & industry automation, EXECOM has begun development for advanced data-enabled mobile phones – for Symbian operating system. Symbian OS is the leading open system in the market, used by the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturers.
Because of Symbian characteristic requirements of breakthrough mobile phones, task was not an easy one; different from all previous projects EXECOM delivered.

The first necessary phase of project development was to explore Symbian platform for it’s distinctness from Windows operating system. Currently, developers are working with Nokia devices using Nokia tool Carbide C++. For this particular solution, coding is adjusted to achieve optimal performance and present a simple solution.

Development of the solution includes working with both communication and multimedia technologies. This means that Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS have to be in accordance with sound recording and camera. The key is in the synthesis of different technologies.

Since certification of the application is obligatory EXECOM is a member of Nokia Pro Forum. Now, you can find us even there.
