Blueslice Expands its Home Subscriber Server Product Portfolio
Press release from: Blueslice Networks
(openPR) - Smaller, cost-efficient HSS 1000™ is added to the successful HSS 3000™
Montreal, Canada, May 30, 2008 -- Blueslice Networks announces the introduction of its HSS 1000™ product offering, complementing the already deployed HSS 3000™. Boasting all the technical benefits and capabilities of its larger capacity counterpart, the HSS 1000™ is perfect for smaller, cost-constrained deployments. This addition to the portfolio further confirms Blueslice’s commitment to pay-as-you-grow models, allowing operators the ability and freedom to expand their subscriber database and grow the HSS system linearly. The HSS 1000™ can easily be upgraded to the HSS 3000™ when required.
The Home Subscriber Server (HSS) is the central subscriber database in IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) networks. The Blueslice’s HSS 3000™ provides control and intelligence within mobile and fixed networks and the management of multiple profiles per subscription.
Blueslice, the leading provider of subscriber management solutions for Mobile, VoIP, FMC, and M2M networks, has simplified the evolution to IMS by fully integrating their HLR and HSS with their ngHLR, SIP-AS, and AAA server. This allows each component to be enabled on the same platform via a simple software license and resolves the issue of migrating subscriber information from legacy HLR to new HSS environments. The Blueslice Home Subscriber Server is compliant to 3GPP IMS specifications, fixed TISPAN specifications, and PCMM for cable devices.
The scalability and flexibility of the HSS are unrivaled. Frederic Bastien, VP Product Line Management for Blueslice Networks, said, “With its extendable data model, its easy-to-use graphical interface and the ability to support 6 million subscribers on one individual ATCA chassis, the Blueslice HSS 3000™ provides unsurpassed flexibility and scalability, as well as best-in-class reliability.” With interoperability tests (IOT) already completed with prominent IMS vendors, the HSS 3000™ is the most open-standard HSS on the market.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
