babelforce has announced the launch of an integration enabling businesses to connect calls directly with Zoho Desk, using Zoho PhoneBridge.

This integration gives Zoho customers access to babelforce’s global telecommunications network and business process automation platform. For babelforce, Zoho Desk adds the ability to offer complete integration of call and support service processes to its customers running call centers.

The partnership between babelforce and Zoho Desk means that businesses can integrate all calls with their customer service and sales processes. With this integration inbound contacts are ticketed, and delivered via conditional and skills-based routing, with popup contact details letting agents know exactly who they're speaking to; outbound calls can be placed straight from Zoho Desk with Click2Call.

There are two technically interesting elements to how babelforce and Zoho Desk systems work together. First of all, Zoho has standardised its capability to integrate out-of-the-box telephony functions - this is included in Zoho PhoneBridge Platform. Babelforce uses its no-code automation platform to allow non-technical people to change complex integrated processes. From a practical point of view, this means that simple initial setup is possible without sacrificing the ability to satisfy more demanding business process requirements.
