The Inland Empire Sales and Marketing Council presents the annual Laurel Awards to honor excellence in design, sales, marketing and advertising in the region’s home building industry. This year’s winners will receive recognition on Wednesday, August 6 at the 20th annual awards ceremony at Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

L&A Marketing and Advertising continually wins awards for its work with new home builders. This year, L&A earned three Laurel Award nominations for its work with Shea Homes and three for its partnership with Centex Homes.
Shea Homes’ 24-Seven and Three-65 at Victoria Gardens are both nominated for Best Logo as well as for Best Graphic Continuity. L&A created a hip, bright identity for the neighboring communities, which feature urban living for young professionals and families in Rancho Cucamonga.
L&A’s work on behalf of Centex Homes received two nominations in the Best Ad category and one for Best Ad Series. The Best Ad Series recognizes the Salute to Heroes campaign, which targets working and retired professionals with a savings discount and images that reflect the pride and achievements of the audience.
In April 2008, L&A took home a Best Brochure award from MAME 2007, a home building awards program for the entire Southern California region. The award recognizes the innovative, cost-effective brochure for La Puerta by Horizon Communities in Adelanto. Featuring an area map showcasing schools, shopping and more, the brochure was also given out by the local Chamber of Commerce.
One of the agency’s 2007 Laurel Awards, for the Tetherwind by Shea Homes brochure, paved the way for recognition from The Nationals 2008 as well. The unique, kite-shaped brochure won a Regional Award for Best Brochure.
