BCI Appoints WBA come Together in China
(openPR) - Close on the heels of launching its widest-spectrum BPO credentialing and certification services in India, the BPO Certification Institute Inc (BCI) is now all set to enter CHINA. It has just signed an exclusive CTP Partnership Agreement with the Qingdao-based technology training major WNR Technologies.

BCI, as a standards body for global BPOs, aims at playing a key role in the development of a worldclass talent-base for the rapidly growing Chinese BPO industry which expects to touch USD 34 bn by 2015. “The vast human resources available in China just need their competencies to be fine-tuned for the global BPO industry. BCI is concentrating on helping its partner WNR develop a worldclass infrastructure through which, these talents can be trained before being certified by BCI on global standards”, says Rajiv Gupta, BCI’s Business Head for Asia Pacific markets.

BCI hopes to replicate its India success in China. BCI’s India exclusive CTP Partner, Hero Mindmine trains around 20,000 BPO professionals every year through its over 100 training centers across India and feeds the talent needs of some of the world’s largest BPOs. In China, too, BPO Certification Institute Inc, hopes to cater to the galloping talent needs of BPO companies in areas like Chengdu, Dalian, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Jinan, Shengzhen, Wuhan, Xian, Tianjin and Nanjing

BPO Certification Institute Inc., (www.bpocertifications.com) is a Standards body for the global BPO industry. It offers BSDQ and BTMQ Certifications for BPO Enterprises and possibly the world’s largest range of human competence Certifications; focusing on as many as eight different levels of BPO & Call Center professionals – from fresh Agents/ Associates, to Team Leaders and Operations to functional specialists to Business Leaders. BCI’s Human Competence Standards System, which is composed of 8 Professional MasterStandards, is arguably the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards system for BPOs and Call Centers.

Unlike most other such standards systems, which are relevant for client-side outsourcing, BCI focuses on the special needs of competencies on the vendorside of outsourcing – ie. Call Centers and BPOs. Also BCI’s 28 stage Credentialing and Certification Process is perhaps the most grueling yet, designed to filter most noises that hinder accurate assessment of professional competence.
