(openPR) - 3D Technologies R&D has released an alpha version of the 3DMLW editor. It includes source coloring, code completion, file tree view, document tree view, fullscreen view, property sheet for elements and some functionality in the WYSIWYG editor.
3DMLW (3D Markup Language for Web) is specification for showing 3D content on web. The idea of 3DMLW is similar with X3D (old VRML), but at the same time it is a really different approach. Specification, tutorials and examples are up in web: www.3dmlw.com
3D Technologies R&D was established in autumn 2006. We have developed a unique platform for showing 3-dimensional (“3D”) content in the web. The core idea is to develop a clear XML-like standard for 3D and 2D content called 3DMLW and provide an independent plug-in for web browsers to show 3DMLW. Our solution has better support for interactive-content than HTML and also some basic functionality for formatting static text.
