(openPR) - Following the inaugural tournament in 2007, the details of the Ireland Coast Links Golf Challenge have now been released. September 7 - 13, 2008 in Northern Ireland. Tournament entry and format is based on 2-person teams, Stableford Scoring - better ball. The best score for each hole will count as the team score. Maximum handicap utilized for scoring will be 24 for men, 28 for ladies. Overall winners will be the teams with the highest accumulated points over the four tournament rounds. Daily tournament prizes to be awarded: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Net and 1st & 2nd Gross; overall tournament team prizes awarded: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Net. Space is limited to 80 North American amateur golfers.
