Mouser Electronics Expands Offering of Neutrik’s PowerCon® Connectors

Mansfield, Texas, USA –May 13, 2008 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., known for its rapid introduction of the newest products, today announced it is increasing their offering of PowerCon® AC Connectors, a leading provider of professional entertainment connector systems.

In addition to the 20 amp PowerCon® Connectors, Mouser is now stocking the 32 amp PowerCon® AC connectors. The connectors are 3-pole, single-phase AC installation couplers without breaking capacity and they feature a current rating of 32 amps for voltage up to 250Vac, as well as a unique locking system and cable strain relief. The solid contacts offer screw-type terminals that accommodate wires from 2.5 to 6mm2 (AWG 14-10).

The PowerCon connectors are ideal for high-power distribution systems and environments including professional audio and lighting devices and installations, as well as industrial applications where high current at small form factor is required. The high-capacity connectors meet all prevailing safety standards and are approved according to VDE, UL, cUL, and JET.
