BNS installs IP-based audio-visual system at Cisco Systems’

Bangalore centre is the fifth installation the Hong Kong based company completed for Cisco in Asia

[HONG KONG, 8 MAY 2008] IP systems integrator BNS Ltd has completed the installation of a next generation IP-based audio-visual system at Cisco’s Customer Briefing Centre (CBC) in Bangalore.

The installation follows BNS’s successful fit out of Cisco System’s CBCs in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul and Singapore over the past 12 months.

The CBC in Bangalore is the largest CBC designed and installed by BNS for Cisco to date and features a complex array of next generation IP-based audio visual equipment connected via an IP network.

The Centre’s two Media Walls, a Demo Theatre with six demo pods, Technical Briefing Room and Demo Lab are centrally programmed to enable demonstration equipment to be centrally controlled via multiple devices, such as Cisco IP phones, standard web browsers, Tablet PCs, touchpads, wall plates, or a variety of PDA devices.

BNS’s solution for the Cisco CBCs is scalable to the most complex audio-visual environments including multi-room, multi-facility locations and is managed through a simple one-click-to go interface provided by US software solutions provider Cloud Systems.

The system makes the usual time-wasting plugging and re-plugging of equipment obsolete and thereby reduces overall presentation times dramatically as presenters can focus on the customer and his presentation, rather than on the AV.

The Cisco Customer Briefing Centre in Bangalore is fully operational now.

A case study of the Cisco CBC installations can be downloaded at www.bnsltd.com.
