First released in 1998, Groupboard is a real-time multi-user whiteboard and chat java applet that users can put in a web page by pasting in a few lines of HTML code.
The new Groupboard Maps application allows users to place a multi-user whiteboard or text comment at a google maps location, which other users can then view or add to.
Group Technologies Inc has been developing real-time, collaborative internet software for over 10 years. Their Groupboard java whiteboard product has been placed on over 100,000 websites since its launch in 1998.
