Press release from: Rogue Events Limited

It’ll be a dream come true for those attending the Bothwell School
of Witchcraft, as all those who missed their owl as children can finally attend a
real School of Witchcraft. The weekend will take place on the 11th-13th August at
the scenic Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, UK. The three day and twonight
event run by Rogue Events Limited has partnered with the team that
produced College of Wizardry in Czocha Castle, Poland and New World
Magischola, USA to bring this experience to the UK. “I’m really happy that they
have picked up the wand and are bringing this event to Britain.” -Claus Raasted,
Project coordinator, College of Wizardry. The event will be much like a murder
mystery, where guests play characters in a wizarding school and take part in
lessons. Tickets for Bothwell School of Witchcraft will be sold via a Kickstarter
campaign to be launched in March 2017.

Inspired by the success of both the College of Wizardry and New World
Magischola which both attracted worldwide attention, the team were surprised
that no similar event existed in the UK. Expecting intense interest in the event,
the team are working hard to bring a similar success to the UK and have set their
sights on running the event annually in the future. “Creating this amazing
experience for our potential guests is really exciting. We want to make it the best
we can and I can’t wait to show everyone more of what we have planned!” says
Cameron Readman, Co-Founder of the school. Prices will vary based on a series
of packages that will be made available. The standard tickets will be range from
£400-£500 including 2 nights’ accommodation at Herstmonceux and all of your
meals.

“We were lucky that Herstmonceux Castle had a cancellation allowing us to book
it for the event. When we arrived at Herstmonceux for the first time we knew
immediately that it was the right place. It just felt magical,” says Stuart Munnich,
Co-Founder of Rogue Events Limited.

One of the oldest significant brick buildings still standing in England,
Herstmonceux Castle which is owned by Queen’s University, Canada is used as
an International Study Centre. From 1957 to 1988 its grounds, spanning 300
acres, formal themed gardens and a 15th century moat were the home of the
Royal Observatory, Greenwich.
