Thompson & Knight Expands Trial Practice

(openPR) - The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its Trial Practice Group with the addition of Associates Victor Arturo Arana and Gabrielle E. Farina. Arana is resident in the Firm’s Austin office, and Farina is resident in the Firm’s New York office.

“Victor and Gabrielle are great additions to our Firm, and we are delighted to have them join us. Their experience and strong focus on client service will greatly benefit our clients and aids us in the expansion of our Trial Practice Group to meet growing client demands,” says William L. Banowsky, the Firm’s Trial Practice Leader.

Arana focuses his practice on business litigation in state and federal courts and white collar criminal defense. His experience also includes employment litigation, civil rights claims, and traditional contract law in a variety of industries, including oil and gas, commercial real estate, and automotive, among others. He received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2003 and his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 1992. Arana is licensed to practice in Illinois, and his Texas admission is pending.

Farina focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and other areas of dispute resolution. She has advised clients on matters pertaining to commercial contracts, New Jersey franchise law, and alcohol beverage law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Hofstra University School of Law in 2005; an M.A. in Labor and Employment Relations, summa cum laude, from Rutgers University in 2002; and a B.A., cum laude, from Rutgers University in 2001. Farina is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
