Based in Athens and with over 20 years of professional experience, Theofanis advises organizations and speaks on project management throughout Greece and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. He has now announced his availability to speak at project management events worldwide.

Theofanis Giotis is co-founder, owner and CEO of ITEC Training SA & ITEC Solutions SA, founded in 1988 and based in Athens, Greece. Since 2004 he is also co-founder & president of the Greece Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI®). Theofanis has over 20 years of professional experience in Project and Program Management, Information Technology, Economics, Operational Research and Management. Since 1987 he has managed hundreds of IT/TELCO projects. He has planned, designed and implemented hundreds of Infrastructure Deployment and Application Development projects for Greek & multinational companies. He also has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology and Project Management (more than 22.000 consulting and training hours). Theofanis has given more 100 presentations on ICT & Project Management, has passed more than 80 professional certifications, and has published more than 100 articles and papers about Project Management in Greek professional magazines (the only columns for Project Management in Greece).
Theofanis holds a BA in Economics from Athens University, Greece and an MSc in Management (O.R.) from Lancaster University, UK. He also holds a Computer Programming/Systems Analysis degree from ACE College, Athens. He was certified as PMP® in 2003 and graduated from the PMI® Leadership Institute Masters Class in 2007. Theofanis serves as International Correspondent for PMFORUM.org in Greece. Since 2001, Theofanis has taught more than 55 Project Management and PMP® preparations courses with more than 633 attendees. As of July 2007, he has trained over 35% of all Greek PMPs.
