RALEIGH, N.C. (April 23, 2008) – Ken Wood, vice president and general manager of Digital Switching Systems, LLC, a leading provider of electronic and mechanical switching solutions to the marine and transportation industries, announces today that Christy Short has joined the company as sales coordinator. In this position, Short will provide logistical product coordination for various clients, as well as support new business development for markets within the United States.

Before joining DSS, Short spent five years as regional sales coordinator with the DNA Group, Inc., the parent company of Digital Switching Systems, as well as six years on the sales/product management team for a global distributor of integrated circuitry and semiconductors. Short is a Henderson, N.C. native and currently lives in Raleigh.
