(openPR) - Karlsruhe, Germany 21.04.2008 — During the past weeks more than 600 companies applied to get the award “INDUSTRIEPREIS 2008” from the initiative Mittelstand (German mid-sized companies). Independent scientists, professors, industry experts and specialised journalists built the jury. The jury gave the award “INDUSTRIEPREIS 2008” to the German Auto-ID and RFID expert company TECTUS for the innovative product „ATEX certified RFID TAGs and RFID readers“. The ATEX RFID products convinced the jury due to the big advantage and innovation content for the industry. „Especially for companies who have in their production areas easy inflammable substances like oil and gas, dust etc. a small spike can result in explosions and destroy human and assets. Therefore our ATEX RFID products are of big advantage for our customers.
