(openPR) - The Global Retail Marketing division of the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas AG starts in close collaboration with the Infininite Vision GmbH & Co.KG the seventh Tech Terminal season. Tech Terminals are interactive information desks for the presentation of new sportshoes, which are disposed in 450 Adidas stores worldwide by now.

3D product animations enable costumers to learn interactive about new products like sophisticated sport shoes on the basis of virtual product descriptions. Infinite Vision purifies the engineering data (CAD) of the brand new sport shoes visually, creates the look & camera work and animates the motion sequences to make the technical features comprehensible and memorable. The resulting filmclips establish the basis for the Adidas Tech Terminals.

Tech Terminals inform consumers worldwide in Adidas stores about new sport shoe models. For this purpose you pick a model of your choice and place it on the Tech Terminal. The shoes are equipped with transponders, which send a radio signal to the reader in the Tech Terminal (RFID-technology).The reader identificates the specific shoe immediatly and digitizes it on the screen. Via touch screen the costumer can find out optionally about the various technical shoefeatures, configure the shoemodel in his favorite color or view profiles of topathletes, who train and work profesionally with the regarding shoe.
