Insightix Announces Buyback Program

04-16-2008 01:51 PM CET | IT, New Media & Software

Press release from: Insightix

Program Allows Customers to Safeguard Investment and Replace Previously Purchased Network Access Control Solutions for Any Reason

Pearl River, NY (April 15, 2008) – Insightix, the developer of IT visibility and network access control (NAC) software, today announced a buyback program designed to help customers successfully continue forward with their NAC strategies by replacing the software running on previously purchased NAC solutions.

The Insightix Buyback Program offers customers the ability to purchase the Insightix NAC software at a reduced price to help protect their investment in hardware supplied by alternative vendors, including those that are no longer in business, such as Vernier Networks and Lockdown Networks. Participating customers with an existing NAC solution can qualify for the Insightix Buyback Program for any reason, alleviating concerns regarding the performance of their current NAC purchase or the commitment of their vendor to the NAC market. This program is available until July 15th, 2008.

“Many large enterprises have started to implement their NAC strategies, although their initial deployment efforts have failed to live up to their expectations, leaving IT decision makers both skeptical and exposed,” explained Amos Inbar, CEO of Insightix. “Qualifying customers can benefit from our buyback program by continuing their NAC initiatives with our Insightix NAC software, while avoiding the need to repurchase and reinstall hardware.”

Insightix NAC outperforms other NAC products by delivering complete and real-time network access control, ensuring that only authorized and compliant devices are allowed to access and operate on the network. Insightix NAC utilizes the company’s patent-pending Stateful Network Detection technology, which generates and maintains a real-time “state” of all devices connected to the network. Insightix NAC is a software-based solution that scales across an entire network, allowing network access controls to be applied to every device even in complex and geographically separated IT environments. The deployment of Insightix NAC requires no software agents, switch integration, specialized software or hardware replacement.
