(openPR) - BUFFALO, New York and CLEVELAND, Ohio - Yormick & Associates today announces that Jason B. Desiderio, Julianna Yee, and Ruby K. Singh have joined the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Desiderio and Yee join as Associates, and Singh as a Staff Attorney.
Jason Desiderio practices from the firm’s Buffalo office, handling litigation and arbitration cases nationally. He concentrates on complex commercial litigation, cross-border litigation, and appellate practice. He has handled over 20 appellate cases, including before the Ohio Supreme Court and filing petitions in the U.S. Supreme Court. He joins the firm from Rupp, Baase, Pfalzgraf, Cunningham & Coppola, where he was an Associate. Mr. Desiderio also served as an Associate with Buckingham Doolittle & Burroughs and as an Assistant County Prosecutor in Wayne County, Ohio. He received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from St. Bonaventure University, where he served as President of the Student Government Association.
Juliana Yee joins the firm’s Cleveland office. She concentrates on preparing and responding to discovery matters in support of the firm’s domestic and international litigation and arbitration practice. She also prepares motions, legal briefs and memoranda, working on a variety of cases ranging from cross-border and complex commercial litigation to real estate litigation. She served as a Contract Attorney at Jones Day, working on class action shareholder litigation and bankruptcy matters involving Enron and brings significant e-discovery experience to the firm. Ms. Yee earned her law degree from Case Western Reserve University, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Canada-U.S. Law Journal. Ms. Yee graduated cum laude from Kenyon College.
Ruby Singh handles commercial collection cases nationally and defends the firm’s clients in employment litigation, including workers’ compensation matters. She joins the Cleveland office. Ms. Singh received her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she was on the Dean’s List, won the Blue Book Award for Immigration Law, as was a Moot Court and Mock Trial competitor. A native of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ms. Singh received her undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.
