In recent research presented at the Annual Meeting of the Society for NeuroInterventional Surgery, the utilization of newer, larger catheters for endovascular treatment of patients of acute ischemic stroke was correlated with reduced aspiration time and improved functional outcomes.

Thus, the use of next-generation devices offers an improvement in the treatment and subsequent rehabilitation of stroke. This is contributing towards betterment of diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke.
