(openPR) - The new DIGITUS® DA-70540 SATA docking station enables direct access to hard disks, without having to install them into an external drive housing or computer.
SATA hard disks are simply fitted into the insert slot for reading out at a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbps. Ejection is carried out at the touch of a button.
Whether for 2.5” or 3.5” disks, both are firmly held in the station by means of the matching folding recess. Coloured LEDs indicate data access (blue) and operation (red).
The DA-70540 is connected by means of the USB 2.0 cable supplied. The power supply of the 575 g docking station is provided by the TÜV GS-tested 12 V power supply unit also included in the package.
This 130x90x68 mm unit from DIGITUS® offers the user compatibility with the operating systems Windows 98SE / 2000 / XP / Vista, Mac OS 10.2 and higher.
