Renewable Energy in CEE

Renewable Energy in CEE

Pioneering spirits - For quite some time, the field Renewable Energy was reserved for "pioneering spirits", idealists, and lateral entrants, all of whom played an important part in the development of this sector. Meanwhile there is an increasing demand of the economy for well-founded know-how on renewable energy.

The unique, interdisciplinary part-time MSc Program by the Vienna University of Technology in cooperation with Energiepark Bruck/Leitha will accept this challenge.

As in the past years the daily newspaper “Die Presse” again awards a scholarship in the amount of EUR 13,000 this year and thus contributes indirectly to the diffusion process of future issues of alternative energy production. The scholarship holder is offered the chance of continuing education in terms of “pioneering spirits”.

Individuals interested in the scholarship are kindly asked to send their application documents (CV and a compelling motivation letter) in English to stipendium@diepresse.com by April 4, 2008 the latest. The scholarship will be awarded by a jury. EUR 4,500 have to be paid on the scholarship´s own risk. Any recourse of law is excluded. The winner will be informed.
