(openPR) - The nominations are in, and L&A Marketing and Advertising is proud to be a finalist in multiple categories for MAME 2007.
Recognizing major achievements in marketing excellence, MAME is the premier awards event in Southern California homebuilding. The awards honor the most innovative and successful sales and marketing efforts in Ventura, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and San Diego counties.
“It’s truly an honor to receive recognition for our expertise in Southern California homebuilding,” said Elliot Light, president of the Irvine-based agency. “The new home professionals working in this region are some of the best in the nation, and we’re proud to be the marketing partner for both national and local builders.”
The Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association of Southern California presents the prestigious MAME Awards. This year, L&A Marketing and Advertising has garnered eight nominations. The awards will be announced on Saturday, April 19 at the Disneyland® Hotel in Anaheim.
L&A’s nominations include Best Brochure (for a community priced under $500,000) for La Puerta by Horizon Communities in Adelanto. The innovative brochure was printed on a single sheet of paper to cut costs and included a useful map on the back showing area schools, shopping centers and more.
Working with Centex Homes, L&A is also a finalist in the Best Color Newspaper Ad and Best Series of Related Print Ads categories. The first nomination recognizes the Salute to Heroes ad, targeting working and retired professionals with special savings and compelling images. The second nomination acknowledges the informative yet fun homeowner testimonial ads for Fusion at South Bay, a new condo community.
The Best Direct Mail Campaign finalists include L&A for its vibrant series for Shea Homes’ Victoria Gardens. The direct mail campaign was successful in regenerating excitement for the community despite delays during the market slowdown.
L&A earned two nominations for Best Marketing by an Associate. One is for its own re-branding efforts. The other is for its road-trip themed pitch to Centex Homes. The final two nominations are for Best Marketing for a Community Outreach for HomeAid Inland Empire’s Project Playhouse and a BIA/OC dinner event.
