(openPR) - Bad Ems, Germany – March 1st, 2008 – By acquiring an equity investment in Lohmeier AG, Munich, HEYER Medical obtained worldwide marketing rights for two Intensive Care Ventilators.

Since 30 years the name Lohmeier represents reliable development and production of high quality medical devices. Developments in Patient Monitoring, Fluid Management, Microwave Therapy and Defibrillator are prove of their experience and expertise. Several international companies turned to Lohmeier for their now successful devices.

The intensive care ventilators VentIS and VentIS PM were developed in close co-operation with experienced specialists. The required technical profile was dictated by the challenges of clinical day to day routine.

The VentIS PM is a world novelty as it combines for the first time an Intensive Care Ventilator and vital parameter monitoring. Avoiding a compatibility issue is only but one of the advantages for the user. Using the Intra/Ethernet connected to a standard PC eliminates the need for special central boards.

Using the VentIS PM waves appearing on the vital monitoring as well as the ventilation parameters, e.g. as loops, can be presented simultaneously on one screen.
