Software architecture meets aesthetics at CeBIT 2008
Press release from: Centigrade GmbH
(openPR) - Saarbrucken, Feb. 22nd, 2008 – Centigrade, the highly-specialized design- and software company joins CeBIT with a series of interesting live demonstrations and presentations. In hall 5, booth B47, the company shows how the unique fusion of usability engineering, user interface design and agile software development allows the implementation of exceptional user interfaces.
Centigrade GmbH Managing Director Thomas Immich: “Identity and aesthetics are requirements that promote modern software programs to become extraordinary products.” Such requirements have become feasible for Java Swing-based software applications: with the combination of attractive icon- and component designs and their smooth integration into existing systems, Centigrade sets new standards in the field of Look and Feel development for user interfaces based on Java Swing.
To assure an excellent ease of use, Centigrade, integrates adequate usability engineering methods at an early stage of every project. At the booth, visitors will learn how basic usability requirements as well as needs of special audiences – for example power users or physical disabled users – can be revealed and taken into consideration. Centigrade GmbH Technical Director Simon Albers: “The main objective of Centigrade is the best possible integration of the client’s usability- and business requirements while considering general technical constraints.”
